Introduction

Trails and trail bridges are an important means of transport/movement for the people living in Nepal's hilly regions. The task of project planning, construction and management, use and and maintenance of trails and trail bridges is done with the involvement, cooperation and participation of different organizations. As local units, civic societies and varied national and international organizations are involved in the construction, maintenance and management of trail bridges, a pressing need for contact, coordination, complementarily support and cooperation among each other has been felt for a long time.

Nepal Trail Bridge Forum established with a view to develop mutual contact, collaboration, coordination and information exchange among those concerned with trails and trail bridges and thereby help the rural poor in availing safe, comfortable and durable means of transport and communication under decentralized approach in order to improve their living conditions.  The forum intends to further education and technology besides establishing and enhancing, coordination and exchange of experiences regarding matters relating to Trails and Trail Bridges.  For more details please follow this LINK
