Trail Bridge Sub-Sector Project was awarded with the Dubai International Award for Best Practice for the year 2002 by the United Nations Human Settlement Program for its outstanding contribution towards improving the living environment. The award is given in recognition of an outstanding contribution as defined by the UN and international community at large, as successful initiatives which, among other things, have a demonstrable and tangible impact on improving people's quality of life.
